LET'S BE HONEST...

..teaching writing is hard.
And most of us were never really taught how to teach it.

So we end up with:

📝 Students who stare at a blank page (or write three pages that say nothing)

💡 Kids who can find evidence but have no idea what to do with it

😩 Stacks of essays and feedback that doesn't seem to stick

⏰ No time to teach writing and reading and grammar

🤓 A different writing "method" every year, and nothing that builds

Here's the good news. You don't need more strategies. You need one clear framework your students can lean on all year.

That's exactly what you'll get at EB Writing Live.

SAVE MY FREE SEAT TO EB WRITING LIVE!
Hey there! I'm Caitlin Mitchell

Before I was the Co-Founder and CEO of EB Academics, I was a middle school ELA teacher, and for years I struggled to teach writing.

I tried every method I could find. Some students stared at a blank page. Others wrote pages that never really said anything. I spent my nights and weekends grading essays and writing feedback that didn't seem to stick. I remember feeling like I was failing my students, no matter how hard I worked.

The biggest struggle? I'd never actually been taught how to teach writing... until 2013, when I started building a clear, structured approach my students could lean on all year.

That approach became the EBW (Evidence-Based Writing) Framework. My students' writing transformed, and today teachers and districts in all 50 states use it. And it works.

On October 24, I'm handing it all to you. I can't wait to guide you.

Thank you for joining me in our mission here at EB Academics to keep great teachers in the classroom.

We couldn't do it without you.

💛 Caitlin
